We are big fans of the iPad in all shapes and sizes when it comes to music making and consider it a great tool.

I'd like to share with you a recent overview we have done of all iPad gens. We break it down and list the pros and cons so if you are on a limited budget and not sure which iPad gen to buy (with music making on it in mind) you can check it out here:

Not bad. I think the iPad 4 is now available in 128G though.... When I bought my 4 Best Buy was 'out of stock' of the 128 version.....now whether they were 'out' or they hadn't been shipping yet, I don't know.....

Interesting article

I got an iPad 1 this week but I guess it's obsolete lol

$50 I can't complain !

WWDC was announced for June. I wonder if they'll finally bring out a quad core iPad (I lemented about the lack of a quad MacBook pro for years)

either way the iPad 1 has been pretty good for midi type stuff. It runs alchemy pretty good and I just have to remember to kill apps that are running in the background

Also, it takes longer to charge than my iPhone but that's a pretty negligible complain at such a small price

$50? Bargain! Very Happy

Samplr and Nanostudio work great on the 1, and so does stuff like Lemur, and it will still work with the Alesis ioDock, so still a great buy. Cool
