having a little trouble w/ the noise cornucopia picking up stray signal from other modules in the rig and amplifying it along w/ the desired noise. basically adds a background "tone" to the noise... not overwhelming, but now that i've noticed it i can't help noticing it. tried tracking down the source, but there's about 45 modules in that case, and i think it's a combination, not one specific offender. i added a pair of ferrite beads in series w/ the power in, helps a bit but not much. any suggestions?

How much capacitance do you have on your power supply? If you don't have enough I've found it's possible for your vco signal to leak back up the lines and pop up somewhere else. Are all 45 modules powered by the same PS? I would unplug all your patches, put your power supply on a scope, AC couple and see what you see.
