Subject description: TR-606 Belived to be overheated from wrong power supply

The guy I bought this from was running a 9V 800mA PS into the 606. it was not running off of batteries when I bought it and now the right side leds light up but none of the other LEDs will light up. tested all the leds and they all work, have 9v at ground, just order a replacement for the regulator and the transistor. Any suggestions of other things to test would be greatly appreciated.

Backwards power is likely to blow the power input regulator, maybe the caps too. So starting there is logical. Might be more downstream but it depends on the device, so stay the course and evaluate after getting the power working.
