Yeah -- I've seemed to notice similar things. Only when there's tons of processing, and it's quite heated up (4+ Hours). However, my andy's never ever acted up on the .12 OS -- even after extended use. So Im lead to believe it has something to do ...

Given the apparent success of the Prophet 08, I really have to wonder why Alesis haven't picked up the Andromeda and done more with it.

Or at least license the chips so someone else could make something of them.

just a note for everyone, I updated my os to .13 and experienced some freezing bugs where the LCD would have black lines thru it....and I have since reverted to .12, and will let people know the results
