It will be a week or so before I make much more progress on the Sound Lab project. In addition to being a full time member of staff in the EE dept at the University of Washington, I am a part time student. next week is finals week so I will have my head stuck in a Physics book until at least wednesday next week.

hey so youre around seattle? i was planning to move there sometime this month, but it looks like it'll be abit longer... my car is in the shop for some rather expensive repairs.

so what material did you end up using for the front panel legend? i bought some inkjet decal paper [8$ from the hobby store] and have been playing around with it. i think it's got some potential.

I described the process in a previous post. Basically I used a good laser printer on some heavy bright white paper. I laminated the paper and used some adhesive transfer tape to stick the laminate to the case. I used some of the tip jacks to align the four corner holes with the laminate as I lowered it onto the case.

Thats about it.

When you get to Seattle, and you need any electronic bits and pieces.....check out the EE dept store at the UW. I'm the manager......

seattle...
what a beautiful city...
I spent two months and a half back in 1998 at seattle university...
I was taking english classes, and I used to live with an american family very close to u-dab and "the ave"...
nice memories... really nice memories...
I was still so young... life was easier...
nevermind...
kind of sad today...
bye guys...
