The 20 Macs That Mattered Most

This month is the 20th anniversary of Apple Computer's Macintosh. To mark the occasion, Wired News is running several stories this week about the groundbreaking machine, the people who created it and the Mac's impact on computing and culture in general.

Twenty years after the introduction of the first Macintosh, here's a list of the 20 most memorable Mac models. Presented in chronological order, all of these machines advanced the state of the art on the Mac, and many featured innovations that influenced the computer industry at large.

The list made by Wired Magazine is interesting. I am not sure I agree completely with it.

One interesting thing not mentioned properly in the article is that the actual internal product design of the macs started to change with the LC. They became easier to service. The butterfly foldout of the desktop PM series was fantastic. The G4 and G5 models are awesome. The Xserve is... heaven..

Hmm.. OK.. I know have to get a life soon.. Shocked
