IBK 10CONTROL
Fader/MIDI Control Module with New Features
http://www.ibk-midi.de/e1contr.htm
The special feature that distinguishes the 10CONTROL from other products on the market is the ability to control jump-free many parameters of hard- or softwaresynthesizers via midi. Much more expensive controllers use motorfaders to perform this feature. The 10CONTROL uses endless dials instead and through that it makes available the same functionallity for a much more reasonable price.
With jump-free controlling, you do not have to snap, catch or hold a button until you have reached a value with your fader before you slightly want to change it. You just select one of up to 100 pages and increase or decrease the value of your desired parameter.
The get the full advantage of these sophisticated features, the soft- or hardware to be controlled must be able to send initial values and it must keep the 10Control updated if the soft- or hardware itself changes a value, for example by recalling a new sound.
As presented at the Musikmesse Frankfurt, this is supported by
Generator and Reaktor of Native Instruments
Pulsar of Creamware
LOGIC of Emagic
Live of Ableton
The 10CONTROL is a versatile and tactile interface for all your MIDI equipment. Use it to control hard- and software synthesizers, virtual mixers and effects units, or to easily edit patches on synths and effects. The 10Control will become your central MIDI remote control device!
10 Rotary Encoders (continuous dials) plus 10 buttons with freely assignable functions such as Continuous Controller, NPRN, or SysEx-Learn
The user-defined labels of all 10 dials or buttons are simultaneously displayed with their values as a 30 segment bar on a backlit, alphanumeric LCD
Buttons can be used for the quick recall of pages, for example: recalling the LFO or Envelope section of a synthesizer
Over 100 pages with up to 10 dials and 10 buttons can be stored
After switching pages or after receiving data via MIDI-In, the last value of every dial is visible and may be edited, without 'jumping' or tracking problems
Save and load your own settings or use MIDI-DUMP to download ready-to-use setups
Usable as a console, or mounted in a 19" rack (3U) Last edited by mosc on Sun Jan 18, 2004 11:00 am; edited 1 time in total |
