hehe I know Laughing My recording method just consists of my encoding mp3-player... Razz Embarassed

I can't make music an computers because I'm just to impatient and I think it destroys my motivation and improvisation for creating music.

A song (in attachement) where I used my Weird Sound Generator together with the Roland MC-307, V-synth XT, MachFive sampler and other stuff.
Recording was in Logic Express.

Great analog sounds. Was the synth-stack at the end, from ableton?

Thank you.
I always try to combine synthesizers.
In my song I used the WSG for effects.
The more musical parts are the MC-307 and the V-synth XT.

@ a.b.o.z. :

A stack is a synth-sound with a "thick" sound.
You can make it by combining different oscillators and detune them a little bit against the other oscillators.
You can compare it with the supersaw.
Correct me when i'm wrong.

Don't know if this is the right place to post this, but here is a taste of my WSG. It consists of two passes with a little bit of help from my MPX 100 delay and some panning in Cubase.

I'm kinda new to the forum, this is my first post at least. Check out www.myspace.com/theviciousbarrett .. The first song is pretty much all SLMS minus the percussion (mainly NI battey). After that it's a mixture of the SLMS, WSG, an SH32, ARP2600v, MoogModularV, a Korg EM1, and Battery v3. For those to cheap to buy or build a CV controller or converter, might I suggest the Ableton Live "Simpler". "Simply" record a 20 sec clip from your Sound Lab to Ableton, cut to your liking; drap, drop, tune, tweek, play. Almost like a polyphonic SLMS without tune drift.

Thanks mosc! Very Happy It was really fun to patch it up.

However, I just recorded it onto an mp3-player directly from the mixer tape output... so no computer editing... Embarassed

I've got thousands of other patching ideas, so it feels great that I've 'finished' my modular Very Happy

Charles, nice one. Very well phrased and develops well musically. It sounds like a single statement. I'd like to hear this expanded into a longer piece.

It looks pretty good to me and the track was a good listen as well !

I listened to Pehr's and Charles' pieces today at work - very nice work, both of you! I've had a Soundlab board for years, and have yet to put the heat to it. You guys sure inspire me in that direction.

Cheerios,
Scott

This is not a song just little test with soundlab.
All synths come from soundlab with effects basicly reverbe and delay.
Bass drum and hihat come from Halion.

Nice sample !

I deleted one for you. You can do so yourself as well by editing the post or going to your attachment control center (through your profile).
