From what I can tell it seems to be an expansion for CME controller keyboards:

Waldorf it is. It is a soundmodule for the CME controllers. I am not sure if the rumours about Bierstube and DJ Otzi soundbanks are true though Shocked

It's cool enough abut the Waldorf nano synth, but I had no idea the CME controllers were "open" to having expansion boards. I think this is the coolest thing since sliced bread. It should be a standard or something for all controllers. Hmmmmmmm......

What a great idea! Imagine if other manufacturers started conforming to a standard format to fit into controllers. You could plug and play different synths into one keyboard.
