Isn´t this a Roland/Boss Dr-55?

It's not a DR-55 clone. Although very simular.

You can program the hihats, it has a trigger output for every sequenser step and a trigger out for the open hihat and no accent.

So if you have the schematics, please let me know.

Best.

Edit: I have no manual, sorry.

I may have the ciruit diagram for this in one of my many piles of papers. Give me a few days and I'll let you know one way or another.

I killed mine about 6 years ago. It would be great to fix it. I accidentally plugged the output of a stompbox pedal into the clock input... oops. No sound output at all now Sad

As may others I am also looking for soundmaster service manuals or schematics, but without success.

Does anyone know who distributed Soundmaster? I asked several music shops in my town; everybody remembered Soundmaster as a brand and they had it once in their portfolio, but no one remembers the distributor / importer.

So maybe someone of you guys knows it?

Florian

Soundmaster SR88 schematic found at last in 2 pieces and rather faded. Photoshop has improved it somewhat!

Hello to everybody

I have recently re plugged my SR88 after a long time unused. I have a problem with it. I thought it was the rom that was dead so I changed it but it's something else as the new rom doesn't change a thing to the bad behaviour of the drum machine.
My problem is that the patterns are not recorded, there is only BD and Snares everywhere. The tempo is working ok but the sound gently fades out when I press play. It takes something like 1 minute or so to completely disappear and I am still unable to record a pattern.
Any idea?
thanks
did
