So I must know, is this going to be a Magic Smoke produced board/module? Or will it be up to the DIYers to make their own boards? I still haven't actually found the parts bin that contains my two SN7677s, but when I do, I'll want to make two of this circuit right away. Such a great sound!

Thanks guys! BigTex, I imagine the effect is just a combination of what the WaveMultiplier is doing in conjunction with the analog delay. Controlling it with the EG can give it a sort of pitch bend sort of sound. BTW, watching what the wave multiplier does on an oscilloscope can provide hours of fascination

The first and third sample were just one track mono recordings - the SN-Voice was essentially providing two voices - the EG controlled PWM through the internal VCA of the Sn-Voice and the constant triangle wave modified by the wave multiplier. My filter has three signal inputs, each with a mix pot, and I was using two of them for the two voices. When I wanted the triangle modified by the wave multiplier, I'd just bring it up with the pot on the filter. The second sample obviously was several tracks, pretty much recorded at random.

Tim is going to design a PCB for the project. Whether Magic Smoke markets a PCB for it or not is up to Magic Smoke - they have Thomas' and my blessing. I can imagine that would be a tough decision - how do you determine a PCB run on a project based upon an IC that hasn't been in production for umpteen years?

The project itself is going to be free to the public. If anyone wants to design a PCB or vero layout, they're free to do so, it's just requested it not be done for commercial purposes without permission from either Thomas or myself.

You may be surprised at how few components it actually requires. I've got the circuit description finished for the web page, and I'm hoping to finish up some of the calibration details for it tonight (it's not all that hard to cal), and get it up and running ASAP. I've got some optional mods that I want to put up, but I'll get the crux of the deal up first and add that stuff later.

Besides, Tom's already plopped another cool design in my inbox (and is threatening more) and I want to get to that. But I gotta finish the webpage first.
