At this precise moment, Artctic Monkeys and Johnny Cash, but these things are always changing in my case. I like a lot of things, Shpongle (just to name something) is great new find for me personally.

I like namedropping, but I guess I'm not that good at it. Last edited by Alexander on Thu Jul 27, 2006 12:41 pm; edited 1 time in total |

Yet another list?

I don´t have any favourite composers really. I like a lot of different music and whenever I make a list the list will become so damned long. As for proper composers or not.. I tend to think jazzheads can "write" music too and hey.. I even think makers of improvised music can be called composers too. Hmm, in some cases I think a band can "write" music as well.

An embarassing incomplete list

Pergolesi

Fartein Valen

Bach

Ligeti

Steve Reich

Robert Carver

John Coltrane

Vigleik Storaas

Christopher Orczy

Thelonious Monk

Led Zeppelin ( Page/Plant )

Burt Bacharach

Arnold Schoenberg

VDGG/PH

Robert Hagstrøm

Harald Hoffmann

Brian Williams

Antonio Bibalo

Berio

Philip Glass

Vaughn Williams

Prokofiev

Olav Anton Thommesen

Can ( most excellent krauties )

Arne Nordheim

Geir Tveitt

Satie

Hindemith

Poulenc

Bartok

Knut Nystedt

Michael Travlos

Piotr Rubik

Graham Bowers

Chopin

Kurt Weill

Liszt

Shoshtakovich

Jimi Hendrix

Serafini

Charles Ives

..and .. you know who you are ..

hmm.. and I even think the noodles by a certain mr. Blue Hell can be called

1. music

2. compositions

3. great stuff

I threw in some links in my list posted above.
