hi, i just got around to trying out my new evolution 449c keyboard and i would like to set up some of the buttons as transport controlers (the numbered ones) - i followed the instructions in the advanced manual for doing this but it will not work in any of the programs i use. how do i set them up for Reason, Live, and/or FL Studio 4 or 5? Thanks

Roger

I use Fruity Loops, and I can just right-click on the VSTi or FL knob/button that I want to control, choose the "assign to controller" list item, then wiggle or press the knob I want to use. However, I'm not sure I know what you mean by "transport." Maybe I've never needed this or maybe I've been doing it all along and not knowing it. Embarassed

There shouldn't be anything you would have to do to the controller itself. Each program should have similar ways of assigning knobs and buttons, and as long as your "USB MIDI Input Device" is listed in the MIDI setup screen of any program, you are almost there.
