Subject description: OS 2.1 anyone?

Having a problem with my trusty modular.

Patches don't store correctly, meaning that after a few days they turn a little strange. Opening a patch on the editor and then watching it, shows osc/env settings moving/changing by themselves. They are not assigned to knobs and have no modulation sources etc.

This gives rise to strange changes it timbre/pitch on a patch. I can reload a patch from file, it wll be ok for a short while then revert back to its funkier/moving/changing version.

I figure an OS downgrade/upgrade might help. I have also removed any gaps in the banks by inserting patches in the 'unused patches'

Could some kind soul send me ver 2.1 of the OS?

Thanks for any help

Looks a bit like some older NM's have a worn out flash chip, this is not the first report I saw seeming to indicate such. Not nice at all, but would be good to know for people to look out for ...

I think its better you contact with Clavia´s support they are really nice always answer on the next day to your question and i think its good that they know the weird problems that the machines they built sometimes have!

It has an AMD 28F something chip, soldered, a bit of a fine pitch, not really easy to replace but doable.
