BTW, if you load this into a proper G2, you can try to hook up an input module where the oscillator envelopes go in. Haven't tried it myself yet...

Oh man I wish I would ever get that bored at work. It would help relief stress for sure.
Is a nice patch, did the input modification and dropped it in between some of my patcxhes, making up a larger noodle. _________________ Jan

Yes, I suppose I shouldn't complain, although having a busy job doesn't have to be a bad thing, I think (although I don't presume to know anything about your situation).
Thanks for trying it out!

Mother Misty's mac problem |
|

Here's what I do to download with Safari. I click on the download link and let the text file appear, I then select "save as" from the file menu, a dialog box will come up asking whether you want to append .txt to the file - select 'NO' and the file will download.
You will also need to tell the Mac that you want the G2 demo to open these files. Select the file then select the file menu and the "get info" option - the rest should be obvious.
(Macs can be amazingly stupid sometimes ... but I won't go any further lest I start a flame war!) |

I'm still trying it out
It's ok again to be busy on the job. Was overstressed a bit some months ago. but then noticed I had several weeks left of holidays to take up and decided to work just four days a week for some months - that seems to have done the trick. _________________ Jan

I mean an actual G2, G2 engine or G2x. The input module isn't supported in the demo, so it isn't implemented in this noodle, which was constructed without access to the NMG2 hardware.

Here's one - it's one of my usual delay abuse experiments. The amount of different kinds of things you can do the modulated delay module...
Mind your ears if using headphones!

Hey- that's a good idea. The demo would be great for travelling. I wouldn't have to carry the engine with me, and be concerned if ti would get confiscated by airport security.
How many of the modules/voices are supported by the demo? |

From the text at http://www.clavia.se/products/nordmodular/demo.htm:
*Polyphony is limited to one voice while the hardware has a maximum of 32 voices per sound.
*The demo can only play one sound at the time while the hardware is 4 part multitimbral.
*A couple of modules are disabled.
*The demo does not support audio in and MIDI out.
The most notable unsupported module is reverb, besides the I/O specified above.

Reverb works in the 1.4 emulator, in earlier versions it didn't. _________________ Jan
