with probability values, for doing markov chains.

one that you could record values into, so that it could adjust itself to state-switching. this could be interesting run at audio rates, too. algorithmic timbres!

I don't know a lot about Markov chains (did a check on the wikipedia article), but can't lookup tables be implemented fairly easily using one or more controlled sequencers plus mixers and offsets?

The llokup can be done by the control sequencers indeed. There should be some 1st order Markov demo patches in the G2 patch archive here on the forum. It's not ideal, a dedicated module could make it easier.
