Hi, long time lurker here, finally registering for help with my friend's Nord Lead 2. He is about as un-technical as they come, and I'm used to my Nord Modular, but I'm doing my best to help him. I've read the manual all the way through and nothing addresses the problem. I'm hoping there's not something wrong with his Nord, but there may be.

What happens is, lets say slot A is the only active slot. The outputs are set to mono, and he plugs only the A output into his mixer. Whatever program is loaded into slot A will play at normal level when starting out. However, if he changes to slot B, and then back to A, the program will now output much lower than original. He has to power the Nord off and then back on to get the correct output level. I thought it might have something to do with how the slots are routed to the output, but it is set correctly. I tried listening with only headphones, and the same thing occurs.

I'm really at a loss. Right now he is just loading single programs into slot A, but it would be ideal for him to switch slots in a single program. I hope this makes sense, and I really hope its not something malfunctioning.
