No details are given how the data from the Wii remote is 'physically" connected to the Nord Lead

There's another YouTube video showing a guy who hacked up some kind up mouse pointer solution for his WiiMote. I can't get into YouTube at the moment, but "Mouse Wiimote" gave me this link:

My guess is that the NordLead is controlled via a wiimote to midi mapper on a PC. It seems that there is a lot of other hacking going on for the Wiimote.

BTW I have a Wii, and it's great! I immediately started wondering about what kind of midi controller you could make it into.

There's also an external for the wii remote, mapping it a little better than in the above example.

This is mapped to jitter and it shows the functionality a bit better..

What I notice about the youtube and other online videos of alternative use of the wiimote/nunchuck, etcetera.. is that the videos don't show us anything new.. the comments are always "WOW" and "AMAZING" whilst all we see is very basic effects and a lousy way of using the tool. Maybe this is a good thing, because you can let your mind run free on what nice patches you could actually make controlled by the wii. Maybe it's just babysteps..

I can't wait to get one, though! Very Happy
