I found LMMS the other day (basically a Fruity Loops clone for Linux) and banged together a couple of short tunes using the default sounds and some LADSPA effects. LMMS is a pretty decent clone of FL from what I remember about it, but it does have some stability problems so save often, and it's missing some features in it's features (heh) such as cloning a track doesn't carry over the notes to the new track. But overall it's decent for making some quick loops and such.

You can check the tunes I did called 'xxx' and 'uhhhhh' on MySpace. And yes, I was not feeling too creative when I came up with the titles Wink
