after listening to the charming "Pennyroyal Swale" by Beth Anderson I thought to upload another acoustic piece to this electro-music forum.
It's a tune I wrote in 2001 called "Foglie d'autunno" (autumn leaves: not related to the song by composer Joseph Kosma with lyrics by Jacques Prevert).
The performers are:
Claudia Propato, flute
Cristina Manuguerra, piano
Roberta Masselli, cello

Listen to Foglie d'autunno

That is a very nice piece, Carlo. Thanks for posting it. Would you happen to have a midi file of this piece? I'd like to take a shot at re-realizing it.

This is really nice! Has a nice melancholy feel to it - which fits the title well.

Beautiful. Has a nice soft jazzy feel to it.

well...that piece was written during a very difficult period of my life and I am happy that I was able to channel my sadness through music trasforming it into something positive (and beautiful, at least for me). That's a great gift for us musicians. We should always feel grateful for being creative thumb up love

Thanks Stein but it should not sound new to you because it's on the CD I sent you (or should I suppose you have never listened to it?). dunno
If you want to see a picture of the performers you can go to my site
http://www.seraph.it click on "info", click on "photo" and, finally click on the second thumbnail from the top to enlarge the picture.
I was the only composer/arranger of that group but managing a female group was too much, even for a saint like myself Wink
If you want to hear more audio clips of that group go to "works", click on "Noeco", switch to english to read the text, click on the arrow to go to the second page and click on "mp3 archive" where you'll find many examples from that album. Very Happy

The piece sounds slightly different on a small built in mac G5 puter speaker.. but it still sounds nice! It first I wondered if I had heard it before, but the title was very familiar.
