I have a Lexicon 1300s (stereo).
Similiar to this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/LEXICON-1300-MONO-DELAY_W0QQitemZ160099500430QQcategoryZ23792QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
It's digital and it's 16 bit....but only the good bits Razz
It was used for sync-ing audio to video frames.
But I don't use it ....at all.
It does a simple "slap-back" , that's about it.
So I am thinking, how can I mod it, or add-to it, to add more functionality?

By creative routing, I have been able to feed back it into it's self (feedback) , but it is easy to reach the threshold where it really feeds back....the unwanted speakerblowing kind.

How can I better control the feedback, other than "keeping fingers on a knob" ??

Any other ideas/uses for this unit ??

you could try cutting some of the address tracks to the DAC, wiring them to switches, so either switched to normal or pull-up resistors.
- reduce resolution and dirty up the sound a bit.

with the feedback, running it thru a simple low pass filter might stop your ears bleeding.

being digital its hard to do much to it.
how about ebay, with a 'trade secret' sales pitch
and then use the $$ to buy something you do want Surprised

That Ebay listing says it's the same as a "PCM42 without the feedback and modulation options" so I'd be looking for the schems for a PCM42 and working out how to add what's missing. Don't forget to include an option for inverting the feedback.
