The panel wiring diagram is wrong, yes? For R10 and R11, the diodes should be on pin 1 of each (as on the schematic), and not on pin 3 as illustrated.

And the purple wire should be connecting pins 2 and 3 of both pots, not 1 and 2...

Is that correct? One should follow the schematic and not the panel wiring diagram?

The numbering of pot terminals is kind of arbitrary and irrelevant unless you then specify the physical position of the numbers when the pot is viewed from the front or back. I don't know whether Ray did specify this anywhere else on his site, so I won't go reprimanding him for it right now. Shocked
That being said, the important thing is that as the resistance increases, the attack and decay times increase. So, if you want fully clockwise to be maximum attack/decay time (conventional) then wire it up exactly as it appears on the wiring diagram. Ignore the numbering from the schem. Cool
This raises the question, is there a standard numbering convention for pot terminals? I don't know. But I'm sure someone who does will chime in soon. Wink

I never know if it's 1 2 3 looking at the front lugs down or lugs up or back lugs up, down. I wish there was a standard.
