hi, my name is alex, i started making my little production work a few months ago and i´m looking for vocal samples to make remixes, i thing it´s something i can start with, but i don´t know where to find them, i mean i want the singing voices from a cuple of songs. so i wonder if you have any method or any way to get them, i apreciate your time, talk to you later...

if you want samples of singing vocals, like 4 8 12 16 bars i'm sure you can buy a sample cd, but if your after actual songs like accapelas, you may find that difficult, there isn't much available. sometimes you get artists that release accapelas, that is your best bet. the only other way is to contact the actual agent or record company of the artist and request the track, so that you can remix it, but that is unlikely unless your a well known artist.

what i would do, if i just wanted some vocals to put music too, i would contact my local college/university and ask the music department if it would be possible to have an audio track from any students who are recording stuff in the studios. because they dont care about copy rights, if you ask nicely, and say you are a student, you might get something.

I used to be a music student, and this sort of thing went all allot, people borrowing tracks and ideas. good look Smile
