Calendar Event: May 20, 2007 - May 18, 2008
Interval: 1 week
Repeat: 53x

Spellbound, a brief program of music for theremin, is perhaps the only regular radio program of its kind in the world. Every week, host David Vesel guides you through his discoveries of "music from the ether" from around the world. Every performance features that oldest and most exotic of electronic musical instruments.

The program airs on Sunday nights from 10 PM to Midnight Eastern US time (7 PM to 9 PM Pacific) on Cygnus Radio at http://www.cygnusradio.com .

You can find out more about the performers on the program, and download past episodes, at the program's web site http://spellbound.purplenote.com . Podcast subscription service (RSS) is available.

electro-music.com artists featured on the program include Kip Rosser (with Howard Moscovitz and Jef Anderson), Kevin Kissinger, and James Spitznagel (The Bemus Point). If you are a thereminist and you aren't yet on the program, e-mail me at spellbound@purplenote.com and we'll chat.

Let me know if you would also like to be on the Spellbound Alert e-mail list, a special list used to remind listeners when Spellbound goes on the air. Register through the web site or contact me directly if you don't want to register with Yahoo to do so.

Thank you!
