Subject description: Any tips?

I just tried to open my Andromeda to clean the broken key or try to fix it. It doesn't look like it wants to open though. Any clues on how to clean or fix a broken or silent key?

Thanks!

i wouldn't really know rufus, though it seems that you would need to have it opened before any success would occur, and if you needed a new key then maybe Alesis support would help? They seem quite helpful, here in the UK anyway.

I hope someone else in the know responds to your post.
Sorry I cant be of greater assistance

thought almost all srews of only the underside should be loosened, but am not sure about it anymore.
on code 404 there once was a description on how to open the a6, guess you'll have a look there with the search function. might be nice if , when found, a copy could be placed here

link for a6 code 404 site:

Yeah, I've searched that site before but I couldn't find any tips on opening the A6.

it should be there somewhere, could ask the same question there, maybe somebody remembers, otherwise why not ask alesis/ neumark or one of their service centre's ?
as i already mentioned, i've been at the repaircentre a couple of times and as far as i remember it looked pretty simple : just remove ( almost?) every screw of the underside, however guess you'll first try the other two options first.
(pity the service manual is not yet around somewhere)
