Any ideas when I can get my mitts on a spanking new Blofeld? Things seem to have gone a bit quiet. I'm in the market for a new synth and really click with the Waldorf sound so just wondering whats happening.

Thought about the Korg Radias too - any opinions on this?

Access Virus Ti is really nice but it's wavetables lack the grit and density that the Waldorfs have. That comment is likely to upset a few I know!

The Virus TI is also three times more expensive than the Blofeld is supossed to be, assuming it ever comes out. April came and went awhile ago now. But I'd say hang in there. For a sixteen part synth, you're not finding a better deal anywhere. The Korg Radius is decent. I've played with it a little at the local music shop, but it's nothing too special. And it maxes out at four parts. And still more than twice as expensive.

Cheers. I reakon I'll wait a bit for the Blofeld and see what that's like.

Better get on the waiting list now if you want one. The whole world is after one it seems.

If this does TI style interfacing (audio and midi over USB for all 16 parts seperately) I might buy one as a DSP box more or less. If the Stromberg does the same thing I might buy one and never need another synth again.

Wow, I would really like to try out a Blofeld. Looks like a really nice interface. If it is an improvement over the already lush "Q", then it should be awesome.
