Where I can buy a Clangora PCB? Can someone etch one for me? Subject description: I am deficient in the experimental electronic drum PCB 'department' |

Hello everybody,
I'd like to build a Thomas Henry Clangora, I downloaded the PCB design from http://www.nutsvolts.com/%7Edownloads/Clangora.zip but I have no way of etching it, I live in a small flat with cats running around so I don't think etching one myself is practical (I've never done it before, there are tanks of chemicals involved?)
I just wondered if somebody was making a board for themselves, whether they could do an extra board for me, or if you could let me know where I can get a single PCB done using the gifs provided in the zip. I will be happy to cover the costs of materials etc and I can drill the holes myself.
Thanks Julian |

An alternative is the Thomas Henry UD-1 kit.. which isn´t´the clangora.. but still.. it´s pretty cool.

I would like a Clangora PCB too! The chemicals used to make PCB's are not really dangerous. If you use Ferric Chloride, the biggest problem is not getting it on your skin or cloths, simply because it stains. I have gotten it on my skin and it doesn't burn or anything.
This should be moved to the Thomas Henry area of electro-music. I'm sure there are a lot of folks who want a Clangora PCB. _________________ Check out my music |

I have everything set up in the shed at the back of the yard so I can etch you a PCB in about 15 minutes. If you accept a Pertinax boad I can get it to you within a couple of days, if you need Epoxy I'll need to order that first, as I have none lying around.
I've done a couple of boards from GIFs before, most notably a number of Digisound boards. Let me know.
