Hello,

With the MiniSynth there comes the option to adjust it to 1V/Octave.
Is this neccessary or only if youre going to use it with a keyboard?
Or could I make it so, that I can swich it on when I need it?

Please your comment on it.

You do it so that it will track correctly a 1V/Oct keyboard. The frequency will double every time the CV in goes up by 1volt. It won't affect it if you don't use a keyboard, so there's no need to "switch it off". It's just an extra level of precision you can take the design to if you want.

it is "necessary" only if you are going to use your SLMS with a keyboard, but if you don't, there is no need to install this mod...
nevertheless, my suggestion would be to install this mod even if you are not going to use a keyboard... you never know, maybe in the future... it will not make your unit working different or worse compared to a unit with no mods...

Thanks for your quick reply.

I am not going to use a keyboard ,but you never know. There is nothing to loose by installing the modification,so I understand.
