HI there

Im having a major problem with my Nord Lead 3 lately. Recently my Nord has been crashing or "freezing" when I use it with a sequencer like Cubase or Protools.

In short, when I want to dump a sys ex or simply play back midi sequences in cubase or protools it seems to crash instantly. Sometimes it works but it happening way to frequently now. Its impossible to work. This was never a problem a few months ago.

Ive tried reinstalling OS 1.2 and Im sure its not a power supply problem. Ive tried using different midi cables, power supply cables, but no joy.Im at a complete loss.

The audio on the nord seems to be working fine and when I midi dump while not using any sequencer it doesnt seem to crash. But the whole point of me using the Nord, is the use it with software.....

Can anyone out there help?????
Does anyone know someone based in Ireland who can help me.
Ive emailed Clavia, so hopefully theyll be in touch.

Wout?Got any ideas?

Look forward to hearing from you all

Chris

The Nords are very sensitive to a great flow of Midi data and can crash. Try to keep it as low as possible. Check Midi Through, what is happening with the signal. Check Midi Echo and Midi Loops.
