This isn't sophisticated at all, and I figure this kind of thing has been done to death, but I liked the sounds that were coming out, and maybe someone has a set of organ pedals lying around, so what the heck...

Three individual delays loops with different lengths. Four parameters on each: 1) fade in from input 2) make squeaky sound by modifying delay length 3) fade out loop feedback 4) mute output.

The parameters are activated by pressing CDEF for delay 1, GABC for delay 2, D# F# G# A# for delay 3. Attached is also an mp3 of me playing guitar and stepping on my organ pedals. I always get a kick out these kind of droney notes weaving into each other.

/Stefan

Hey man! This is absolutely awesome!!! What do you think could the delay lenghts work with midi clock? (I don't have seen your patch yet, therefore the question...)
Thanks goma

Thanks! Very Happy

The delays that I use in this patch don't have a ClkSync setting (which syncs with MIDI), but the delays with built in feedback do. The patch would have to be modified to so that the damping envelope is sent via MIDI CC and the FB knob is assigned to that CC. Not the same resolution and barebones control as I personally like, but doable, I think.

I hadn't realised until just now that the simple delays don't have ClkSync. Confused

/Stefan

Nice mp3 Stefan !

(damn, I got my guitar back a few months ago after having borrowed it to someone for a year or two, and now it just stands there with a broken string and all ..)

Thanks!

Guitars are good for many things besides the obvious. Don't let the broken string stop you! I'm sure there is a "Remove a string from your guitar" oblique strategy somewhere. Smile

I play it with the mic on my G2X ....
It's a great voice playing/looping patch to create strange rythm !

Thanks

Thanks.

The delay modules alone have for me proved to justify the purchase of the G2. There probably are other platforms that let you set up sets of differently timed independant delays that are modulated and feedbacked in any number of complex ways, so quickly and easily, but I don't know what they are!
