Cute!

Hope they stay working! How are you doing static abatement?

by the way

thanks to all who helped me get this working, and working in time for my show.

the filter thread a few months back was the genesis behind this filter and everyone has been helping me with things from power supplies, to eg's to cv, to gates and triggers and vco's.

this forum has been my school for months and even though this might look kind of low-budget to some, for me i am very proud and somewhat surprised that so much of this knowledge came from EM

thanks everyone!!!!

Some plastic compounds have big issues with static electricity.

You can try reading some stuff here.

Tupperware being one of the ones I know has static buildup properties.

I used to build guitar pedals in tupperware. I never had any of them spontaneously die. I still use them. Now i have a friend who works at a liquor store who provides me with an endless supply of cigar boxes, which smell better.

The cheaper plasticware seems to be less staticy.

Congratulations, Loss! I would be sooo into seeing someone playing a synth like that live (I'm on the wrong coast, however). Have a great gig too!

im still kind of pinching myself. it really is cool when you can sit back and play some great stuff on an instrument that you built every ounce of.

i dont know if my show will be that great tonight as I will probrably just enjoy the sounds of the synth (and about five or six OTHER sound devices I have made, including a WSG, a cracklebox, and a bunch of other weird devices)

i might even pass out some instruments to the crowd to join in.

i think they were expecting an acoustic set like i did last time---oops!!!
