I received the expansion board today.
Plugged it in and ... nothing. I pulled it out again to be sure, if it's giving more voices or not, and it does. It exactly doubles the voices, but there is no "Exp"-sign behind the version number on the main display (should be).

Does anyone has the same behaviour? Is that normal?
I don't know if it's really working ok or not.

I just got mine today too. Mine does say "exp" after the OS indicater at boot up, but I'm using a beta OS - not a great comparison.

I loaded one of my favorite factory patches, "BriteTine" under the Piano category, and it shows 23 voices. I don't remember how many it had before, but it was about 6 or 7, if I remember correctly.

There was a problem with the instructions, which I will document on another post.

gal,

OS 1.10 doesn't display the "EXP". But it's expanded nevertheless.

I checked "BriteTine" and it gives me 23 voices too.
So everything seems to be ok.
Thanx a lot for your statements.
