Masterful program. If you don't have it, seek it out. It's an absolute error that this isn't in the presets. I would rather have this one program than the entire Preset 1 bank. I remember that everyone was so jazzed about that sound during the beta then, it was cut?
I spent a while breaking it down last night. It starts with a PWM oscillator that I can't duplicate on my own, something makes it so buzzy that I haven't figured out yet. Two VCOs doing PWM, of course. Square wave at 20% and negative saw, plus pitch modulation, it gets a vocal sound from that. I still can't find the buzziness, maybe that's just the character of the instrument.
Then a pair of resonant LP filters which give the sound format vocal sound. What's happening with the resonance of F1 controlled by the tracking generator? I assume it's to make the middle range of the keyboard the most resonant, very interesting use of that feature. Come to think of it, I can't think of another preset that uses that feature.
Anyhoo, one of the best A6 programs ever. I think Peake did this one? |

Yep, this is an amazing patch. One of my favorites too.
I find the arpeggiations on the A6 to be amazingly superb.

I agree. This is an amazing program. I think a lot of what's in the presets don't really show off what the instrument can do. |

I did that one in one of the extremely early test revs, long before patch compatability. Arnd Kaiser resurrected it, and should probably take full credit for it. |
