OH HAI EVERYONE:

So, I've been left in charge of a friend's Andromeda for the past year or so, and I have decided I'm finally gonna really learn to program this thing over the holidays.

I have Downloaded the newest A6 OS, and most of the cool user libraries from the Alesis website.

My Main issue, before & after the OS upgrade, has been OSC 1 detuning to random amounts for no particular reason. I leave the thing on, and come back 2 min later and the "OSC 1 edit screen" is up and my patch sounds different.

Anyone else run into this annoying problem?

Also, is there a way in Logic Pro 8 to get the A6 to stop sending program change messages, either from the synth or ignore the messages in Logic?

I'm getting tired of changing patches only to find that Logic has been kind enough to load one of my saved instruments (kontakt etc) and all my andromeda plug in work is gone.

Thanks, I'll clarify if need be.

might be a knob or pot , of the osc section is making false contact. try pushing -turning them a few times to see if that might correct the matter.

in cubase i normally filter the pc data out, so i do also with my midipatchbay ( motu) . don't know ctually if it can be changed at the a6 dirrectly.
