Chatroom problem/limited connections?

I've tried connecting to the chatroom about 30 minutes ago, and Firefox hung and had to be shutdown. It could be a firefox problem too, you know how quirky java can be.

I recommend trying IE if you have that installed, if not and your not willing to install it, not much I can say other than to keep trying.
Use the specific server command if it times out which is

/server irc.blitzed.org

Or your best bet to be honest if you dont want to waste any more time, get a real irc client app such as mirc found @ www.mirc.com
When you install that only takes about 10 seconds literally just connect to
the blitzed server by using the same command or select from list.
Then you still need to join the channel.
Use command

/join electro

We are all connected there now waiting for your arrival.

no you dont need to forward any ports to use mirc, and we figured out cappy you were trying a DCC chat which is not a private chat.
