I'm in the process of collecting A6 presets. I snagged all of the patches from the patch archive here at electro-music. But I'd really like to get my hands on the patches from Alesis.

They don't seem to be on their support page anymore. Any clues as to where I can pick them up?

Also I'm new to using presets and sysex and all that stuff. I usually just roll a few of my own meat and potatoes sounds and make something up on the spot. But now I'm wanting to have more sounds at my finger tips. This is for a recording studio so I don't mind being tied to my computer.

What do you guys recommend as the best way to organize all of my sounds and have access to them when needed? You know say a bank of basic meat and potatoes sounds. And then a bank of 128 string patches. And another of 128 bass sounds... and so on. Is there a good program that lets me organize patches, or do I need to load them one at a time and organize/name them in the A6 and save the bank?

Naming is what I find painfully slow in the A6.

Thanks!

D'oh! I found them. They were under the support downloads section rather than the patch section for some reason.
