WhiteSpace

Another exercise, this time trying to avoid the temptation of filling every moment in time with a sound. Sort of like the concept of white space in visual design.
Technically, I am using the bus to create a centralised effects section. Some of the randomness is created using modulated pulse delays, the higher the delay, the more trigger events get swallowed up into the ether.
Those that follow the list will probably recognise the recent tape distortion simulation in the effects section. And yes, I am unashamedly recycling my keyboard patches. The backwards piano patch was fun to play before I added the milk bottles.

I apologise in advance to Howard for the heavy use of delay. A long time ago, I had a similar dislike of the cliché, high resonance filter sweep, but it has faded with the years.

Sorry I can't post an MP3, still fooling with my PC recording setup.

No need to apologize, but I appreciate the thought. This doesn't depend on delay or echo effects. In fact, in this noodle, the delay effect is very subtile.

Here's an mp3 for those that don't have G2s.

I like this one... thumb up well done xxsun

A good one Ian !

It's always hard to remeber to keep the noodle 'open'.
