Hi guys,

I'm a newcomer here, got a NM1 and a G2, luv them, but now I'd want to USBing my NM1.. I've read the threads about midifying the thing but it seems that it's only a 2x2 thing, I just need the editor on usb, I prefer a real midi sync for the synth.

Is there any solution ?

Thanks a lot Wink

I guess the new Ploytec, com thingie could be used?

Posted Image, might have been reduced in size. Click Image to view fullscreen.

The GM5 chip works with standard class-compliant drivers and is fully compatible with Windows Vista, XP and Mac OS X. Alternatively, customers can use the GM5 chip with Ploytec's special custom drivers, which feature greatly enhanced performance compared to standard drivers. GM5 Ics support an I2C EEPROM for vendor-specific data and start at euros 2.50 in quantity.

And there are some nice kits from JLM that can be used for adding balanced audio out. And you can even use them for balanced inputs.. cool..

welcome clavia303

I jump right in with another matter which, I hope, you can help.

On this forum there is another French NM Classic user with problems installing V3.03 and using it. Also the use of the English language is somewhat troublesome, so maybe you can help him in French?

See http://electro-music.com/forum/post-179438.html&highlight=#179438 where you can find details.

Wout

There are also USB-MIDI cables you can use.
