I've put it on my list of things to read the next time I'm bedridden
I prefer to look at music like this to experience music like this and to study it like this _________________ The question is not whether they can talk or reason, but whether they can suffer. -- Jeremy Bentham |

Sound composition is strongly related to numbers, whether you like it or not. _________________ 0.618033988 |

Do you make a distinction between sound composition and music composition? And if so what? Just a little unsure what you are saying. _________________ The question is not whether they can talk or reason, but whether they can suffer. -- Jeremy Bentham |

Well, then there must be unsound composition as well? _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

There have been times I´ve had to check if I had that piece on repeat in my CD player. Those moments are creepy. _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

Right. And I hope those noisy drug crazed engineering students across the street will develop a strong sense of that musicality really fast. _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

I'm trying to understand how all this relates to musical geometry and geometric construction in general, but all I have is a protractor, half a beer, and some fond memories of a woman named Ann. It's OK - the memories are improving with the beer consumption, though I think the protractor has gone out of tune. _________________ "Let's make noise for peace." - Kijjaz |

Have a couple of more beers and it will be much clearer.
Oh and that usually improves a protractors tuning as well. _________________ The question is not whether they can talk or reason, but whether they can suffer. -- Jeremy Bentham |

I'll attempt to combine music and geometry.
Prove music controls emotions
1: Music is played
2: Music is heard
3: The people hearing it start arguing about it.
4: The argument heats up, tempers flare.
5: A fight breaks out.
6: The music stops.
7: The fight stops.
8: Everyone returns to their seats and has another beer. _________________ http://www.virb.com/waynehiggins

In the electronic environment often yes.
A matter of not using existing musical rules, but other rules, when making a sound-construction.
Making a 'musical' composition is a choice with electronics, not inevitable.
This is at the same time the problem with "2: Music is heard" by Oenyaw.
The interpretation will be made from a musical point of view instead of an electronic point of view. _________________ 0.618033988 |

Nyuck Nyuck! I knew you had a sense of humor, Sam_Zen! Hey, this protractor really IS back in tune! _________________ "Let's make noise for peace." - Kijjaz |

Oh, Sam_Zen, Oenyaw was joking and you referred to his joke, so I naturally thought you were joking. So in response I made another joke. I'm paranoid too, so I can understand your sensitivity, just give your paranoia a rest and have a laugh! It's good for you! No offense indented by the joke, it's just good to see people's lighter side. _________________ "Let's make noise for peace." - Kijjaz |
