i'm making a pcb and i'd like to integrate a 4 port usb hub. does anybody know how to do this? thru-hole parts is preferred but i'll use smt parts if i have to.

This page has loads of single chip usb hubs that would work...

I doubt you will find a thru-hole part though.

Many of them use some kind of eprom or masking to give the hub a unique name, serial number and manufacturer id. Masking wont be possible for small quantities so you probably want to look at the eprom ones.
