Subject description: Bugger won't light

My gated comparator is working 100% except the LED for the second shifted output. This is odd, as the gate for that stage passes right through the LED and out the jack perfectly, yet it won't light. I made sure it was connected properly(and even lit it up) with my multimeter. I changed it with a new one and still, nothing. What could be wrong Confused Thanks.

Sounds interesting.
If it doesn't light up but you still get a gate signal, maybe there isn't enough current passing thru.
check the resistor values (don't trust the markings), with a multimeter. Check 2k2 is properly connected to ground and finally consider replacing the transistor.

Aye! A flaky(literally) solder pad t'was. Bridged it with a wire and she's right as rain. Thank ye kindley!
