We're more on the rhythm side tonight, let the drums talk to our heart and body. Just the right pace to enjoy the flight of sounds and images entering our mind. Best for this episode to sit back and let the beats grab you for an aural journey of chill. And this is what you get to hear: Baltes & Erbe (S-thetic²), Harald Grosskopf (Synthesist 2010), Organoid (Spectral Theory), Beat.Dowsing (Rising Current), Seazo (A Tribute to Cosmos), and eCe boas (Fischland). And don't miss out the upcoming events by Baltes & Erbe (E-Day and more) and Stefan Erbe with Harald Grosskopf on March 7.

Delicious beats on:

A joyride with sequences and more traditional electronic elements is on tonight's playlist. We actually have the gentlemen of synth musicians in this episode. And as kind as the guys are, as kind is the music playing for us in many different colors. Join in for great tunes by Kellerkind Berlin (Signs), Broekhuis, Keller & Schönwälder (Direction Green), Howard Givens & Craig Padilla (Life Flows Water), DigitalSimplyWorld (Seeds), Helicon Wave (Black Halo Pyramid), and Alba Ecstasy (Unpredictable Intersections Over the Time and Now). And don't miss the opportunity to experience Broekhuis, Keller and Schönwälder live on March 13 and 14 in Repelen.

Tonight's a special episode, looking ahead at the upcoming E-Day festival in Oirschot, Netherlands on April 18th. It's also special as it is a call to action, as we are close to the action date for the event, that is March 12th to decide upon the event taking place. And to make sure, the more tickets are booked the more likely E-Day will continue to present great artists in an enjoyable environment. So best go for it as soon as you can. And to give you a tiny help, you will get the full range of live acts of E-Day on this show. These are Peter Nooten, Filterkaffee (Schönwälder & Rothe), Baltes & Erbe, Skoulaman, and Air Sculpture. Great stuff for a good price.

Festive lookahead on:

Spring, yeah, finally! And it started with a (partial) eclipse of the sun in this part of the hemisphere. And if spring fever cought you, check out tonight's episode providing a vast bunch of electronica with tracks by Xenoton (Traveller), Exit Project (The Past is the Future), Angström Institute (Origin of Ghosts), Harald Nies (Horizon), Yunas (Yunas), Beat.dowsing (Rising Current), tonblende (Zeitreise), and DFRNT and Nearfield (Phaeton Chronicles 2).

Last weekend I enjoyed the festivities of the Schallwelle award prize givings with about 300 artists, makers, and friends of electronic music. A real fun to meet all those people again and have nice talks all evening long. So, still being in a happy mood, tonight's choice of tracks surely reflects this, although it's rather quietly sounding. Ah, well, simply take half an hour and listen to the show, very nice tracks enlisted by Sebastien Marchal (Goldfish), Forrest Fang (Letters to the Farthest Stars), Altocirrus (Members of AmbiOfusion - Forever Together), Curious Inversions (Schoolyard Crows), and Mythos (Jules Verne Forever).

If this edition has anything to do with easter, it is some of tonight's artists live eastern from my place. No, it's quite about beatiful music tonight, so stash your eggs and pick up your bunny for a dance. We'll have a rhythmic ride along with tracks by Plasterdog and Smartfish (Pindaric), moonbooter (Live 4), Mateo Relief (Midnight Radio 37), Vadim Kotinskiy (Mood), Faris (Pause), and Abiz Sonko (Markarian 421).

It's always interesting to see, when artists pick up traditional elements in their music, but not sticking to it by copying the old style. Adding new thoughts and re-interpreting what was laid out by masters in their domain to build upon it, advancing to a modern style and age of music. The tracks from tonights playlist will surely remind you of the past, but sound like today, welcome to the future home. Tune in and listen to Sequential Dreams (Legacy), moonbooter (Live Eins), Rewo (Zeppelins 2.0), MarcE (Forever Together), and DigitalSimplyWorld (Planet of the Butterflies).

"Don't drink and drive", who has not heard this phrase before? Well, for a podcast like tonight, it is rather "Don't listen and drive" as this edition rather is on the quiet side of the force. Nevertheless, it contains brilliant beauty all over the show, so not to miss out, if you also cherish more peaceful music, ambient that is. And it's also a tiny consolation for all of you not being at E-Day this weekend, as the first track is the first live act on stage, Ron Boots as Derelict Thoughts (Autumn Moon). But there are more contributors who make a great collection of ambient: Riz Masten (Girls Alive), Frore & Shane Morris (Blood Moon), Ambient Circle (Session 19), Carey Moore (Trout Ribs), as well as NFushigi and Cousin Silas (Midnight Radio Compilation Beautiful Julia).

Listening closely to a shell lets one hear the murmur of the sea. Well, not really, but it quite sounds like it. In truth, the sound you hear is the natural frequency of the shell's air column. Ok, this is far too technical for the beautiful noise it provides. All I'm saying is that tonight's edition of syndae is like a shell. Take a close listen, as it carries half a dozen of real beauties in style and sound. Not the most serene this time, with tracks by Erik Wøllo (Blue Radiance), Reskimus (MRC Beautiful Julia Edition 2015), The Hermit (Liber 3 - Dualism), Johan Tronestam (Roswell), and finally Martha Rabbit (Zodiaklicht). So, here I sat recently preparing a new edition for my podcat when I realized that soon it will be issue 300 to be put on the server. Amazing it has come so far and it is still fun to compile the show. Well, I am not going to make a big deal of it, but maybe a tiny, tiny, tiny celebration style of edition, nevertheless. And I am really happy about number 300, having fabulous tracks by Spyra (Staub), moonbooter (special mix), Gert Emmens & Ruud Heij (Echoes from Future Memories), and Stefan Erbe (Back 2 Club Genetica). Thanks a lot, for supporting my podcast as artist, label or listener or all of these. Very much thanks you, for keeping me and for sharing the passion in electronic and ambient music.

If one sees images changing fast enough they cause the impression of living pictures. A technique as old as 1832 in fact, so it is really quite young an invention. Chaining sounds to form a song is so much older and still so popular as in the past. And given the right sounds and sequences, music can also creates a film, a magic mental movie taking one to fantastic places. Tonight we have such tunes, although mainly not of real movies, but putting living images into your mind. Get a nice listen to the tracks by Ron Boots (Acoustic Shadows), Thilo Rex (The Dominoe Principle), Christopher Franke (Perry Rhodan: Pax Terra), Myhael and Jeff Danna (A Celtic Tale: The Legend of Deirdre), and Picture Palace music (Somnambulistic Tunes).

I have to raise a warning that a new festival is in sight. E-Scape is coming up, hopefully starting a new series of events in the UK. Tonight's show has three of the acts on its playlist with John Dyson (Darklight), David Wright (Beyond the Airwaves Vol. 2), and Glenn Main (Into the Blue). More than these, I have tracks by Janneh (Love Times Time), Leaving Richmond (Midnight-Radio Compilation 40), and a wonderful closer by Levente.

The beat is on. Another fine new episode of syndae getting into the rhythm again, but still mostly easy going, no heavy lifting. And if you think about it, it is all about rhythm, whether explicit or implicit, which picks you up and takes you to places. Let this show help you with fantastic tracks by Sun-Monx (In the Trees), Martha Rabbit (Zodiaklicht), Suns of Arqa (All is not lost, but where is it?), Another Fine Day (A Good Place to Be - Remixed), Uksuss (Tunguska Chillout Grooves Vol. 12), Rudolf Heimann (Perpetuum Mobile), and Tonblende (Zeitreise).

It seems like we just passed the event horizon, as so many concerts are now coming into sight. Tomorrow we have the E-Scape festival in the UK, the week after you may meet Berlin School masters in Bochum, and only one week further there's kraut-like rock in Dortmund. And all of these for you electronic lovers only. Enjoy some appetizing tracks by Eric van der Heijden, Dreamerproject and F.D.Project (E-Scape 2015 Compilation), Filter Kaffee (102), Sine Amplitude, and the new EP by von Hallgath (Easterfield).

This was a strange week. Not that busy at all, but my mind at no time came to rest. Well, maybe it's the jumpy weather, giving us 13C one day and 29C the other. I don't know. So, what helps with a busy head? Energetic and laid-back ambient did the trick this time. Well, if you cannot rest your thoughts, would like to re-energize calmly, or simply enjoy great ambient music, this should be a show for you. On its playlist you will find Owann (Particles), Dirk Serries (Disorientation Flow), Cousin Silas & Kevin Lyons (Amazing Tales of Time and Space), Time Being (A Place to Belong), Stratosphere (Aftermath), Matt Coldrick (Music for a Busy Head Vol. 1), and Jaja (Starfields).

So what do you do finding the microphone not working just when you are about to record the podcast for this night? Right. PANIC!!! Well, after panicking I checked for an alternative, so do not be scared about my voice on the show, it is an emergency solution. Nevertheless, the music is still excellent, so I hope to have you with me for a great collection of new, nearly new and older tracks, which are by Planet Boelex (Moments), Sequentia Legenda (Blue Dream), Steve Roach (Skeleton Keys), and DigitalSimplyWorld (Solar Observers). And we close the show with an event plug for the 2015 Cosmic Grunn electronic music meet. Of course, having teaser tracks for you, by Phrozenlight and Von Haulshoven.

Just about to head into a summer break with syndae. And the microphone thought so too and broke. So, sorry about the voice over, but I hope you still enjoy the music, which this time spans about an hour as season closer. Well, enjoy a short break of new syndae episodes by revisiting older ones. There are more than 300 of them in the archive. And especially have fun with this edition, serving music by Matt Coldrick (Music For a Busy Head Vol. 1), Der Waldläufer (Nateace), Planet Boelex (Moments), Otarion (Monument), Stefan Erbe (2Club Genetica), Stan Dart (Tales Of The Solar System), Dorian Przystalski & Wojciech Wszelaki (Journey to Dream), Realtime (Magnificent Imaginations), Owann (Particles), Commit and Daega Sound (Subtextures / Compilation), and Palagran (Midnight Radio Compilation 41).

Yes, we are back. A short but successful break, enjoying the summer sun, cursing the summer heat, and having some fun at the beach. Oh, and most important, a new microphone is in place and does its duty well. To stay in the summer mood and relax, tonight's collection of new and noteworthy music takes it easy on your ears. Pleasing sounds and modest rhythms to allow for a beautiful mind trip. Including a tiny look ahead on a live event in August with David Wright. So what's in it tonight? Amazing tunes by Faex Optim (Mercury), BatteryDead, David Wright (Beyond the Airwaves Vol. 2), Pan Electric & Ishq (Elemental Journey), Eagle (Midnight Radio Compilation 44), and finally Rainer Winschermann and Stan Dart with Wolfgang Gsell (Close Up).

Dark it was, the moon shone bright. Sounds strange? Well, if you're listening to this show, you will certainly know it's not. While we take a step to the more bassy side of electronics, the greatness of the music will spark all over. Lots of free music on tonight's show, and for some please respect their name your price request. Have a great time with this edition, having tracks by Paolino Canzeroni (Moto Verso), Airform and Dmitriy Galas (Tunguska Expedition 3), Potential differenSe (delicatesseN), Displacer (Electric Dreams), and verstaerker & a/head (Mammoth).

Now to something completely different. We had tracks with lyrics before, but tonight there's quite a number of them on the show. I am looking forward to the Electronic Circus in October with No More, out came their new album today, so all the other tracks fell right into place for an extraordinary show with respect to the common syndae contributions. I hope you enjoy this variation on electronic music and related styles, with tracks by DJ 8-8008 feat. Michelle Hylan (The Ritual), No More (Silence & Revolt), Superstrings (Sound of Slow), TYA (Echoes), Frech and Koch (Digital Family Vol. 5 / Compilation), and Lambert Windges (Faint).

Now they had images from the other side of the moon, what a nice and quiet place it must be. Endless planes, always calm and serene. Put a bench at the corner of some crater and enjoy the view of the sun around the edge. Maybe get a glimpse of that big blue ball hiding behind its front. Yeah, right, time for some ambient tunes to fit to the scenery and to keep one at peace. We're onto it with tonight's tracks by Psicodreamics (Ambiethernum revisited), Morandi Experiment (Midnight Radio Compilation), Steve Roach (Etheric Imprints), and Lutz Thuns and his Friends of Ambient.

Finally, my internet connection is stable again, so I am pleased to provide you with a new edition of syndae tonight. And it's full of new music as well, so I hope it will recompense for having to live a week without the fine electronic music on syndae. On this show you will find tracks by Erik Wøllo (Echotides), Chronotope Project (Dawn Treader), Broekhuis, Keller & Schönwälder (Green), Hagen von Bergen (In Da Villa Kunta Bunta), and Syndromeda (Too Much Information).

Over all time of syndae's existance, I've been accompanying and supporting the electronic circus festival right from its birth event. They have turned into a very cool day of music, spanning a broad style of electronica and up to synth pop. On October 3rd they will have a fresh start in a new location, and the line-up is simply fantastic, if you love EM. Tonight's show is dedicated to this festival, giving you tracks by all the live acts that day, starting with John Dyson, who will appear together with Michael Shipway and Paul Ward. Then we have German's famous Spyra, going classical together with a cellist. From the past and still live and kicking, German's No More will be on stage. And finally, the starter of the day, a wonderful and enjoyable live act on its own: Meesha from the Netherlands.

So I just had a look at my calendar and, boy, these next months are stuffed with events on electronic music. And there is quite a bunch of new releases and tracks out this month, which makes this a great time to train ear muscles. For example, with tonight's show and all those fine tracks to be heard, quite fleshy treats on chilly beats. Join me tonight for tracks by Vortex Elements (Gate of Life), Terra Nine (Lucid Dreaming), Stan Dart (Tales from the Solar System), Forlon (Birnam Wood), Potential differenSe (delicatesseN), Erik Wøllo & Bernhard Wöstheinrich (Welenuhr), and the great Sundown Cafe (Sailing Away).

Plenty of new and marvellous music tonight, with modern interpretations of traditional electronic and well redone earlier material. It has a feel of Quantum Leap, combining two ages and still feeling like home. In this edition, we are taking time, mix it a bit up and put it nicely to our ears. Have an enjoyable time with tracks by Chronotope Project (Dawn Treader), Paul Ellis (Moth in Flames), Vortex Mechanic (Vortexly), Kellerkind Berlin (Walk With Me), Z (Real Life Never Stops), Uwe Reckzeh (Perfection Mode), and Colin Rayment (Abstract Dimensions).
