Hello,
I haven't had the opportunity to build a CGS wavemulti yet but I was wondering what can you use as an input signal?

has anyone tried anything else apart from VCOs? perhaps line level audio signals? does it make any sense at all???

i'm not talkig about the grinder section. i heard a guitar sample through it and I have a feeling this device can do more than what i heard

thanks!

aero

Wink

Both of them require a 10v p-p (+/-5v) input signal for the full effect. I wouldn't be surprised if a guitar signal was unaffected altogether.

Your best bet is to amplify the signal first by using something like the CGS46 Stomp Box Adapter.

Hmm. Might there be suggestions for modding the boards for use with conventional 1.2V level signals? (Moog, Buchla, Technosaurus)

My favorite use of wave multipliers is running analog drum machines like the 808 through them. Sounds delicious. I had so much fun with the drums that it actually took me a while before I ever tried running a vco into it, which I ultimately found far less interesting for my tastes. Laughing
