Hello,

I am attempting to construct my own little home studio. I am very comfortable using Digital Performer as my sequencer of choice, however I own a PC. I was wondering if anyone knows of a sequencer for PC that is the most similar to DP? I tried a Lite version of Ableton, and it just seemed too dissimilar to DP that I couldn't wrap my head around it. I prefer a more linear based sequencer...

How about a free life time membership Wink

Too bad I don't know a thing about the software you're asking about, free lifetime software advice would be a good one too, but I'd have to break such a promise immediately Crying or Very sad

Congrats! Smile

I use DP a lot, but recently I 'had' to do a recording in a window based studio and although I didn't have to mix, I did do a lot editing and I must say, cubase seemed to work very well. You could have a look into that!

Reaper may be worth a look as well, download it and have a look.

You might give Acoustica Mixcraft http://www.acoustica.com/mixcraft/index.htm a try. It's very quick and easy to use, supports VSTi and both MIDI and audio tracks, and it's cheap! Very Happy
