Hi all,

mouser, when queried, states that NTE912 is a Cross Reference Match For: CA3046

This is the spec sheet of NTE912.
http://www.nteinc.com/specs/900to999/pdf/nte912.pdf

is this a direct replacement, pin compatible thingy or I should grab some CA3046 from ebay?

Thanks in advance,

Aris

From the datasheet, the NTE912 seems to be a replacement for CA3046.
Other substitutes are : CA3146 and CA3086.

Thanks a lot for your answer! I will get some of both to check out the differences. If they are compatible, the CA3046 sourcing problem might be solved!

(BTW Mouser also lists me NTE based ICs as direct replacements for CA3146 and CA3086 which are unavailable too at their site)

Thanks again,

Aris

You can get the CA3086 at Smallbear for $2.35 as opposed to $5.18 for the NTE part at Mouser.

My Favorit is Banzai
0,60€ http://www.banzaieffects.com/CA3046-pr-16748.html

they got some other good stuff, and the most prices are hard to beat:
example the Alpha Pots
http://www.banzaieffects.com/Mono-Split-Shaft-c-399.html

P.S.:anyone got a good source of CA3096?
