Subject description: I know they have some voltage drop but... when?

Well the subject pretty much says it. How long of a time can I expect the Analogue Shift Reg to hold a voltage before I start noticing the drop. Subjectivities of that statement aside, can someone throw me some ballparks? Any idea how to make it longer?

I think it'd be great to use it for several seconds...

wow, what about an ASR that would hold for minutes? I could chain about six of them together, use some freaky clock divisions, and create some reall cool canon on ambient recordings.

I amjust about to build the ASR adn am wondering the same.

I think it will all come down to playing with the value of the Cx caps. Regardless I cant wait because I have never had a shift register before!
