Ok heres the thing, ive been ill recently and missed a few lessons at uni in how to use max msp....the main problem im having is when you press a key (note on) you hear it when you take your finger off the controller keyboard (note off) so the main question im asking is how do you disable the noteoff message so you only get one note ? or can you set its velocity to zero to achieve the same effect?

Without seeing your patch it's very difficult to see where you're going wrong.

use the object that's called "stripnote"

it strips the note off message automatically.

hope this helps
