Hi,

I don´t know if I´ve gone blind, but I can´t find a LFO module in the G2 which can sync to the ClkGen. This I did all the time in Nord Modular so I guess there´s a new way to do this in the G2 - how?

Hi,

found it - it´s hardwires to the either the Performance tempo - or to the ClkGen, if you have a ClkGen in the patch.

Brilliant!

Can you explain that to me? I understand how to sync to the Master Clock, but not to a ClkGen.

Look here:

Thanks, sebber

I'm not too sure here eitther, I'm not using this stuff a lot - ehm actually I never used it at all :-)

I was thinking to not use the ClkGen module but to use the Master Clock instead. There are some LFOs that can be synced to the Master Clock.

Would this give you what you want to achieve ?

Anyway it was what I had in mind in that other thread.

Jan.

If you had modules being clocked or triggered by a clickgen, and therefore wanted the lfo to sync to the tempo of the clickgen, then you could sync both the lfo's and the click gen to the master clock. Then everything's in time.

Is that what you meant masso?

Edit: Sorry, didn't see Rob's solution in the other post.

Hi,

if you´re using LFO B for instance - just click the Rate button to choose between the different sync selections. If you have a ClkGen in the patch - the ClkDivider in the LFO will divide that tempo - otherwise it will divide the Performances tempo.

Just brilliant!
