Welcome back.

I like this piece. It's very abstract - not pretty music. It has definite form and structure, the combination of sounds is interesting. Listening to it is an experience.

I have two suggestions which you can of course take or leave.

The sharp noisey stuff at the beginning is in hard stereo. This is good, I like the effect, but I think it would be good to soften it just a touch by mixing just a tad of the left channel to the right and visa versa.

Near the end, the speeded up voice comes in what seems to me a bit too loud at first.

I realize that I may be critisizing to essential parts of your music. Maybe I was supposed to be "upset" by those. Certainly, the sounds and textures aren't designed to be gentile.

BTW, would you please add your location to your profile. Thanks...

Thank you mosc for your comments,
and I'm happy to have your advices, but I wanted these sounds loud, and I think it's a carateristic of this piece, and for me that gives a sort of charm.
Naturally I'm not able to judge my piece because I'm not objective, too bad.
But thank you again for your comment.

N.B. : Paname is a popular term for Paris Cool

I enjoyed the second half of the song, when everything is settling down.
you could go further with a sampler, chopping the flute part and doing call and response stuff with other element. chopping an argeiphonte lyre file and reprogramme it.

I don't know what the problem could possibly be with the profile, unless it is related to an Apache 2/ PHP bug that I just fixed. Would you please try to update your profile again, and if it doesn't work, please let me know by PM, there may be something else going on here that needs fixing.

Greetings Forficule

Hmmm. I don't like this track as much as some of your others. It doesn't seem to have as much purpose, as much of a definite identity, as "Transport" or "Chats Gouttierres" or some of the others. I do like the bit where it all breaks into tranquility at about 2 minutes though. Eerily calm, as if you're expecting something really extreme to happen next.

Sorry, I don't have any specific comments or criticisms to make, so maybe not very helpful - I'm a bit of a layman when it comes to this sort of music.

Cheers

Dovdimus

No, actually I do quite like it! It's just not nearly as good as some of your others. But if it was rubbish, I'd be happy to tell you.... Smile

It sounds like a strange soundscape where teh monks are trying to create some order into the gaos with there chanting.
But then, one of them is destrurbing the peace with his "LaLinea" voice.'
