Hello! Anybody with experiences with the CEM3396?
I am planning a build with it driven with a vc clock , to use it as a vc synth core. Idea Has anyone done this Question

One problem using it outside of a microprocessor controlled environment is that the waveform is not a constant shape for a given waveform when the timing pulses change frequency. The waveform CV needs to change along with the timing frequency. Check the datasheet for more details.

You could in theory build an analog circuit to map a CV that might go to your master oscillator to modify the waveform CV.

If you want to know what it sounds like check out the Oberheim Matrix 6 and Matrix 1000. They used these chips.
